a decidedly mediocre stay
small showerpoor maintenance
Honestly, the room was not great. i booked a double, but it felt more like a single. the bathroom shower barely worked. It only dribbled water. i think a good scrub and a plumber are NECESSARY.

The bus stop near the hotel entrance made travel easy. The on-site bar and outdoor area provided a good space. The linen was clean. The friendly locals.

I appreciate the parking. I found it ample. The bar and restaurant are also convenient, the meals were hearty. The WiFi connection in the room was consistently strong, I found it useful.

The double room I stayed in was of good size, I believe. The bed was very comfortable, and that matters. Tea and coffee making facilities were available, replenished daily. That was important to me.

The room had a double bed and it was quite comfortable. breakfast offered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which i found quite decent. the staff, especially millie, were very friendly. I appreciated her helpfulness.
the shower did not function correctly and was not repaired.

The bar had plenty of marks, but my room had clean linen. the bathroom fixtures were also clean! the bed was comfortable. i had some wine and fine fish and chips in the bar later. the food was very good. The staff were friendly and excellent!
The room could have used some cosmetic work. It looked a bit tatty at first, it's true.
