lovely atmosphere convenient parking
the bar had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff made the evening special the indian menu offered great variety and the coconut rice was really good i found the free parking convenient a very nice touch.

The building had plenty of parking spaces. Its location was also quiet. The room included a spacious and bright bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast offered a decent selection of warm options and I liked the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
The shower didn't work very well during my entire stay.

a decidedly mediocre stay
small shower poor maintenance
Honestly, the room was not great. i booked a double, but it felt more like a single. the bathroom shower barely worked. It only dribbled water. i think a good scrub and a plumber are NECESSARY.

The bus stop near the hotel entrance made travel easy. The on-site bar and outdoor area provided a good space. The linen was clean. The friendly locals.

I appreciate the parking. I found it ample. The bar and restaurant are also convenient, the meals were hearty. The WiFi connection in the room was consistently strong, I found it useful.

The double room I stayed in was of good size, I believe. The bed was very comfortable, and that matters. Tea and coffee making facilities were available, replenished daily. That was important to me.

I had some fish and chips at the bar and it was fine, I appreciated that. The breakfast included cereal and cooked options. The selection was good and that matters. The area had a pleasant restaurant too.

comfortable bed smoked salmon friendly staff
The room had a double bed and it was quite comfortable. breakfast offered scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, which i found quite decent. the staff, especially millie, were very friendly. I appreciated her helpfulness.
the shower did not function correctly and was not repaired.

surprisingly good stay!
clean linen comfortable bed friendly staff
The bar had plenty of marks, but my room had clean linen. the bathroom fixtures were also clean! the bed was comfortable. i had some wine and fine fish and chips in the bar later. the food was very good. The staff were friendly and excellent!
The room could have used some cosmetic work. It looked a bit tatty at first, it's true.

I had some delicious food in the restaurant, with a great glass of wine for only £20. It's an excellent value! the restaurant also offered a very tasty full english breakfast with my stay.

I was pleased to find the hotel in a handy location near the thames path. the hotel is close to a pretty village. This. the hotel had plenty of parking spaces!
